Level 2 Gym Instructor course is the perfect steppingstone into the fitness industry and is the first step in becoming a personal trainer!

In this course you will learn how to execute safe and effective exercises in a gym environment.

Power Academy is partnered with Active IQ, one of the largest awarding organisations in the UK. This course is also fully recognised by CIMSPA. You will be a qualified Gym Instructor upon completion. To be able to work as a Personal Trainer, you will need to take the Level 3 Personal Trainer course. We also offer a combination of both courses.

Once you’ve completed your Level 2 qualification, you have the option to progress to completing your ‘Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training’ which focuses on equipping students with the core skills required to work as an unsupervised personal trainer covering nutrition and health, advanced anatomy and physiology and business skills required to set up your own practice. This allows you to go above and beyond the basic exercise planning and instruction, enabling you to positively influence every clients overall wellbeing through enthusiastic and high level bespoke training and nutritional advice.
